12. Child Protection and Safety Policy

12.1 Target audience and age restrictions

Local Match is designed exclusively for adults aged 18 and over. Anyone under the age of 18 is prohibited from registering for or using the Service. During registration, users are required to provide their date of birth so that we can confirm they meet the minimum age requirement. We may use additional age-assurance measures where appropriate and may suspend or close an account if we reasonably believe that its user is under 18.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly and take appropriate steps to prevent further access.
