Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and QUITE STREAM LTD ("Quite Stream", "we", "us" or "our") governing your access to and use of Local Match, including its mobile application, website, features and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 17 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement to use Local Match. You must provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials secure and promptly update information that changes. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account. You may not create an account for another person or use the Service if we have previously suspended or terminated your account.

2. The Local Match service

Local Match is a social discovery and dating service designed to help users find and communicate with other users. We do not guarantee that you will meet, match with or form a relationship with any person. We do not conduct exhaustive background checks on every user. Use care when communicating with others and follow the safety guidance made available in the Service.

3. User content and conduct

You retain ownership of content you submit, post or display through the Service. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, display and distribute that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, secure and promote the Service, subject to our Privacy Policy.

You must not use the Service to:

• impersonate another person or provide false or misleading information;
• harass, threaten, exploit or defraud another person;
• publish illegal, hateful, sexually exploitative or infringing content;
• solicit money, engage in commercial spam or operate scams;
• collect information about users without permission;
• introduce malware, bypass security controls or interfere with the Service; or
• use automated systems to scrape, copy or access the Service without written permission.

We may review, restrict or remove content and may suspend accounts where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users or comply with law.

4. Purchases, subscriptions and virtual items

The Service may offer subscriptions, virtual currency, digital items or other paid features. The applicable price, currency, billing period, renewal terms and included features are shown before you confirm a purchase. Purchases made through Google Play or another app marketplace are also subject to that marketplace's payment terms.

Where a subscription renews automatically, it will continue for the disclosed billing period until cancelled. You can manage or cancel an app-store subscription through the account settings of the store used to make the purchase. Cancellation stops future renewal charges but normally does not remove access already paid for during the current billing period.

Virtual items have no cash value, are not transferable and may be used only within the Service. They do not constitute personal property and may not be exchanged outside the Service.

5. Trials, promotions and discounts

Any trial, promotion or discount is subject to the eligibility, duration, price and renewal conditions displayed with that offer. Unless the offer states otherwise, a paid subscription may begin automatically when a trial ends. You should cancel through the original purchase channel before the displayed deadline if you do not want the subscription to continue.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel a subscription at any time through the purchase channel used. Refund eligibility depends on applicable law, the purchase channel and the circumstances of the request. For Google Play purchases, refund requests may be handled under Google Play's applicable policies. For purchases processed directly by Quite Stream, contact contact@quitestream.com with the account email, transaction reference and reason for the request.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory cancellation, refund or consumer rights available under applicable law. Local Match is a digital service; no physical goods are sold, returned or shipped.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, excluding user content, and all associated software, designs, trademarks, text, graphics and other materials are owned by or licensed to Quite Stream and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

If you believe content on the Service infringes your intellectual property rights, email contact@quitestream.com with sufficient information to identify the work, the allegedly infringing material, your contact details and the basis of your claim.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information when you use Local Match.

9. Suspension, termination and account deletion

You may delete your account using the in-app account settings. We may suspend or terminate access where you materially or repeatedly breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, harm other users, or where required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, liability and dispute provisions, remain effective.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that all information supplied by users is accurate. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer rights.

11. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms to reflect changes in features, law, security or business operations. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where required. The date above identifies the latest version.

12. Governing law and courts

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
